Bea Ladrón de Guevara is a multidisciplinary artist based in Southern California. Her practice is grounded in simplicity, sustainability, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Using mineral earth pigments and botanical inks that she prepares by hand, Bea highlights the inherent beauty of natural materials through an unhurried and intentional process. Natural palettes become both subject and method, fostering a reverence for the materials that shape the final art form.

Her paintings function as meditative spaces. They connect inner and outer landscapes while evoking the elements that form the natural world. By bringing these sensibilities into lived-in spaces, her work invites reflection on humanity’s deep interconnectedness with nature and underscores the urgent need to protect the environment.

Her work has been exhibited in group shows in California and Spain and is held in private collections. She is currently developing a new body of work focused on merging the western and eastern tradicional concepts of the elemental systems to understand "harmony" and balance.
